How to Use AI Prompts
Never used an AI prompt before? This guide walks you through it in plain words. Takes about two minutes to read.
What is an AI prompt?
An AI prompt is just a written description that tells an AI app what image to make. Instead of figuring out the right words yourself, you copy a ready-made prompt from PromptSeen, paste it into ChatGPT or Gemini, and the app creates the image for you.
Think of it like a recipe. You don't invent the recipe — you follow one that already works.
Using a prompt with ChatGPT
- Find a prompt you like on PromptSeen and open it.
- Tap the Copy button. The prompt is now saved to your clipboard.
- Open the ChatGPT app on your phone or computer. Make sure image generation is turned on.
- Paste the prompt into the chat box and hit send.
- Wait a few seconds. Your image appears right in the chat. Save it or ask for changes.
Using a prompt with Gemini
- Copy a prompt from PromptSeen the same way as above.
- Open the Gemini app or go to gemini.google.com.
- Paste the prompt and send it.
- Gemini creates the image. If you want a different look, describe the change in your next message.
Tips for better results
- Change the subject. Swap in your own details — your name, your city, your pet — before pasting.
- Be specific about style. Words like "cinematic," "vintage," or "3D cartoon" change the whole look.
- One idea per prompt. Don't mash three styles together. Pick one and let it shine.
- Try again. Every generate gives a slightly different image. Run it twice and pick the better one.
- Ask for edits. After the first image, say "make the background darker" or "add a sunset" — the AI will adjust it.
- Check the size. If you need a profile picture, ask for a square image. For a wallpaper, ask for vertical.
Common questions
Is this really free?
Yes. Every prompt on PromptSeen is free to copy and use. No account, no payment, no watermark.
Do I need to install anything?
No. You just need the ChatGPT or Gemini app (both free). Copy from our site, paste into the app, done.
Can I change the prompt before using it?
Of course. The prompts are starting points. Edit any words you want — names, colors, styles — to make the image yours.
Who owns the images I create?
You do. The prompts are free to use, and whatever the AI makes from them is yours to keep and share.
